Join Terrence Smith and the Tamarack Dance Association for an afternoon of music, movement, and dancing together. This family-friendly gathering is an opportunity to bring multiple generations together and share in the simple joy of dancing.
No previous dance experience is needed. The dances are taught as you go and are designed to be welcoming for people of different ages and experience levels.
ABOUT TERRENCE SMITH & TAMARACK DANCE ASSOCIATION
Terrence Smith is a Duluth-based folk dancer and caller with decades of experience leading participatory dances for people of all ages. He is a founding member of the Tamarack Dance Association and has led folk dance programs throughout the region in libraries, schools, community centers, childcare programs, and other community settings.
The Tamarack Dance Association is a Duluth-based nonprofit that brings people together through traditional folk and community dancing. Its events welcome both new and experienced dancers and create opportunities for people to learn and enjoy dancing together.
