Ancestral: A Transformational Sound Healing Concert Experience
Experience a rare evening of music, movement, and visual art with artists traveling to Duluth from Peru.Ancestral: A Transformational Sound Healing Concert Experience brings together Peruvian artist Luz Maria Ampuero, dancer Ana Zavala, and visual artist Ivan Cavero for an immersive performance blending live singing, traditional chants, electronic music, dance, and projected artwork.
This one-hour multimedia experience invites audiences to slow down, settle in, and reflect through sound, movement, and imagery inspired by Peruvian ancestral traditions. Guests may remain seated or bring a yoga mat, blanket, or cushion to experience the performance lying down. Following the performance, the artists will share more about their work during a Q&A.
Recommended for adults, teens, and older children who are able to remain quiet and engaged throughout the experience.

FREE WORKSHOP Intro to ASAHI: The Finnish Art of Moving
Join us at SOLCA for a free introduction to Asahi, a gentle Finnish health practice that combines simple whole-body movements with slow, mindful breathing.
Led by Margaret Vainio, an Asahi Nordic Head Trainer from Finland, this accessible practice can be done seated or standing and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. No previous experience is needed—just wear comfortable clothing.
Asahi can support mobility, balance, coordination, relaxation, and stress relief while creating a deeper connection between movement and breath.
Free and accessible to all. Come learn something new and experience this Finnish practice together! Enter the blue door on Superior St.
